DESCRIPTION:\n\nLouisa Lyne is an established singer and performer, originally from Härnösand in northern Sweden and now based in Malmö.\nShe focuses on Yiddish songs and her repertoire includes both traditional music and her own newly written material. Although Louisa didn’t grow up with Jewish traditions, she describes her first encounter with Yiddish as love at first sight.\nLouisa has performed songs in Yiddish to a wide Swedish audience and her work has been recognized and awarded several prestigious nominations and awards, including the winner of Der Yiddisher Idol, Mexico City 2019.
